Untitled…

Chaos… the building blocks of outer space.

The layman only understands the night sky from what he sees.
To understand its purpose, he tries to abandon his senses.

Closing the eyes…
Meditating…
A parallel vacancy, now created within his mind.
Some people report visions, but he sees nothing.
An empty mind, or a full one?  Which is more favorable?
To receive creative inspiration is indeed divine,
But to require no inspiration is Herculean.
Some consider freedom to be evil.
Man’s desires should be stifled, not expressed.
Religion is never fully understood.
Its building blocks are a series of questions.
In pursuit of its answers,
It can pull man through a journey of confusion.
Why is he rewarded with affluence, and not I?
Why did her family convert, while not my own husband?
We are blind to the reasons behind fate.
Nor does it have any logic that can be defined.
Instead,
It is simply
Chaos.

  1. Oh, Neesa, I really like this one. There was a character in a Sc-Fi story, of which I have forgotten the author or title, or much of the tale, who referred to the gods of his people as, “The Lords of Cosmic Jest.” Another view I hold dear is that it is from chaos, the primal paradoxically both full and empty, “something mysteriously formed before heaven and earth” (Lao Tsu), that we draw all new things.
